“But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, [even] Christ.”
-Ephesians 4:15
The Greek word for Head is Kephale. It is the same word Paul uses when describing man as the Kephale of his wife, in other passages. It doesn’t imply what some religious leaders have surmised – a “boss.” Instead, what it denotes are ideas of Leadership and Direction, such as the first part of a scroll that is rolled under itself. Paul admonished Husbands to love their Wives as Christ does the Church, due to laying down his life as “Exampled Servanthood.” The idea of a man humbling himself and being held accountable was new to the general cultures, regardless of region or religion. The metaphor of Head and Body oneness gave Female Saints an unusual number of newfound freedoms, which they otherwise would not have enjoyed outside of the in Christ paradigm.
What is remarkable, is that Joseph Smith did indeed lay down his life – on many occasions – for the Latter-Day Saints, which earned him a proper status of Husbandman to the Latter Day Saints.
For anyone within Christendom who has not yet accepted the Book of Mormon as true, or Brother Smith as an inspired Seer of God, the concept of him being Head of the Church (instead of Jesus Christ), will sound like blasphemy. However, this immediately makes sense, once you understand the difference between the 7 Dispensations – which I will soon expound upon.
There is a contextual tone in Paul’s writings that should form the basis of how we view the LDS Head Seer concept. Yet, it is more specifically defined in D&C 107:91-92,
“91 And again, the duty of the President of the office of the High Priesthood is to preside over the whole church, and to be like unto Moses— 92 Behold, here is wisdom; yea, to be a seer, a revelator, a translator, and a prophet, having all the gifts of God which he bestows upon the head of the church.”
Let’s unpack this:
- There are specific gifts only given to the Head of the Church
- The Head is a Seer
- The Head is a Revelatory
- The Head is a Translator
- The Head is a Prophet
- The Head is like unto Moses
- The Head presides over the whole church
- The Head is the President of the Office of the High Priesthood
Seems simple, right?
No.
Because from many other sections in DaC, we are confronted with seemingly contradictory or difficult to reconcile ideas. My goal now is to unwind these to come to a better understanding of the type of discernment we need to acquire in order to hope for assurance on these matters.
February, 1831, Kirtland, Ohio. D&C 43:1-9,
1 O hearken, ye elders of my church, and give ear to the words which I shall speak unto you. 2 For behold, verily, verily, I say unto you, that ye have received a commandment for a law unto my church, through him whom I have appointed unto you to receive commandments and revelations from my hand. 3 And this ye shall know assuredly—that there is none other appointed unto you to receive commandments and revelations until he be taken, if he abide in me. 4 But verily, verily, I say unto you, that none else shall be appointed unto this gift except it be through him; for if it be taken from him he shall not have power except to appoint another in his stead. 5 And this shall be a law unto you, that ye receive not the teachings of any that shall come before you as revelations or commandments; 6 And this I give unto you that you may not be deceived, that you may know they are not of me. 7 For verily I say unto you, that he that is ordained of me shall come in at the gate and be ordained as I have told you before, to teach those revelations which you have received and shall receive through him whom I have appointed. 8 And now, behold, I give unto you a commandment, that when ye are assembled together ye shall instruct and edify each other, that ye may know how to act and direct my church, how to act upon the points of my law and commandments, which I have given. 9 And thus ye shall become instructed in the law of my church, and be sanctified by that which ye have received, and ye shall bind yourselves to act in all holiness before me.”
-End quote
Everything being said above is implicitly stated as commandment and law.
Let’s examine verse 3 and 4,
3 And this ye shall know assuredly—that there is none other appointed unto you to receive commandments and revelations until he be taken, if he abide in me.
4 But verily, verily, I say unto you, that none else shall be appointed unto this gift except it be through him; for if it be taken from him he shall not have power except to appoint another in his stead.
___
Nothing in these passages indicate how or when the “another” would be appointed in his stead. However, we know from section 107 that anyone claiming to be the Head (President) of the Church must embody these exact qualities:
- A Seer
- A Revelator
- A Prophet
- A Translator
What is a Seer? (One who “Sees” – can use objects to receive visionary insight).
What is a Revelator? (One who Unveils what has not been commonly seen before).
What is a Prophet? (One who foretells the future).
What is a Translator? (One who converts revelatory truth from one language to another).
Some of you reading this might believe that you could claim someone is President of the Church. I ask you:
Do they possess The 4 Criteria for President of the Church?
I have yet to see evidence that Brigham Young or any of his successors Translate anything.
Have you?
There are many subtleties and conditions pertaining to Joseph’s role as Head Seer. Verse 3 makes it clear that no one else is appointed to the Saints to receive Commandments and Revelations until Joseph be taken, if he abides in the Lord.
- As long as Joseph abided in the Lord, he was the only one who could provide Revelatory Directives to the whole Church
- “Until he be taken” is a cryptic phrase because it doesn’t specifically define that as death
- Verse 4 uses the word “taken” in a different context, referring to “this gift” being taken from him
Verse 4 also emphasized “none else shall be appointed unto this gift,” very similarly to “there is none other appointed unto you.” It is clear that Joseph’s position as Head Seer is unique to him: not easily passed on to anyone else. If Joseph was “taken” or he did not abide in the Lord, then and only then could someone else be appointed. There is a special caveat though:
“Except it be through him.”
(I can’t emphasize enough: they also have to possess All 4 Criteria to be President of the Church.)
We must notice these little yet big things – the conditionals. Because if Joseph did not abide in the Lord, then he still had a power to appoint someone else. If Joseph was “taken” he still had power to appoint someone else. If “taken” refers to death, then it means that Joseph has power to appoint another from the other side of the veil!
I’ll say that again:
Joseph has the power to appoint another to his position as Head Seer from the other side of the veil.
There are 2 ways through which Joseph could appoint another:
- While alive if he did not continue abiding in the Lord
- In death while still abiding in the Lord
So far we can see that in order to appoint another while living, the Lord was trusting Joseph to do the right thing, if he was not faithful. We would need to find evidence of both the unfaithfulness AND the appointment!
The humbling idea conveyed is that if he did appoint another while alive, the text indicates that Smith was somehow a fallen prophet. I know that some of you would get quite upset to even entertain the notion of a “fallen prophet.” However, neither Smith or his revelations claimed immunity from falling. The Lord acknowledged the possibility that Joseph could not endure to the end!
If Smith was prone to the potential of falling, it is exceedingly stupid for any Latter Day Saint to believe that the alleged successors to Joseph could not fall away or lead the Church astray.
If you believe an alleged “successor” to Joseph couldn’t lead the Church astray, I am certain you are in a cultish mindset and need to repent!
The Josephine Scriptures are clear…
However, a time came when the Lord pronounced that Joseph had passed all the necessary tests and thereby was NOT fallen. (This means the condition of him appointing another while living no longer applied – thereby proving that the claims of Brigham Young and the 9 Apostles to having received all of Joseph’s Headseership “keys” were a lie…and even their own claim of such is a Self-Refuting Claim for other reasons.)
____
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sidney_Rigdon
On July 5, 1832, Rigdon taught that “the keys of the kingdom have been taken from us. On hearing this, many of his hearers wept, and when some one undertook to dismiss the meeting by prayer he said praying would do them no good, and the meeting broke up in confusion.”
In response, Hyrum Smith traveled to retrieve Joseph Smith, who returned to Kirtland on July 7. Joseph Smith rebuked Rigdon, and publicly prophesied that “[n]o power can pluck those keys from me, except the power that gave them to me; But for what Sidney has done, the devil shall handle him as one man handles another.”
Reportedly, “About three weeks after this, Sidney was lying on his bed alone. An unseen power lifted him from his bed, threw him across the room, and tossed him from one side of the room to the other. The noise being heard in the adjoining room, his family went in to see what was the matter, and found him going from one side of the room to the other, from the effects of which Sidney was laid up for five or six weeks. Thus was Joseph’s prediction in regard to him verified.”
On July 28, Smith re-ordained Rigdon to the high priesthood after Rigdon had “repented like Peter of old”.
____
I do not trust Wikipedia 100%, but the reason I reference the above incidents and claims from July 5th, 1832, is that later in 1833, Sydney Rigdon would be chosen to be part of The 1st Presidency. If the account is true that Joseph said, “No power can pluck those keys from me, except the power that gave them to me,” that indicates he did not regard himself as a fallen prophet! Like stated earlier, according to the February 1831 command, he could not pass on the Head Seership to anyone else unless he was fallen.
The only possibility left is that Joseph would be able to give them after being “taken.”
2 years later, this similar idea is affirmed with more emphasis.
March 8th, 1833. D&C 90:1-6,
“1 Thus saith the Lord, verily, verily I say unto you my son, thy sins are forgiven thee, according to thy petition, for thy prayers and the prayers of thy brethren have come up into my ears. 2 Therefore, thou art blessed from henceforth that bear the keys of the kingdom given unto you; which kingdom is coming forth for the last time. 3 Verily I say unto you, the keys of this kingdom shall never be taken from you, while thou art in the world, neither in the world to come; 4 Nevertheless, through you shall the oracles be given to another, yea, even unto the church. 5 And all they who receive the oracles of God, let them beware how they hold them lest they are accounted as a light thing, and are brought under condemnation thereby, and stumble and fall when the storms descend, and the winds blow, and the rains descend, and beat upon their house. 6 And again, verily I say unto thy brethren, Sidney Rigdon and Frederick G. Williams, their sins are forgiven them also, and they are accounted as equal with thee in holding the keys of this last kingdom.”
This is where everything starts to potentially become confusing. Because of the following:
- The Keys of the Kingdom shall NEVER be taken from Joseph, while he was alive and also on the other side of the veil
- Despite Joseph retaining The Keys of the Kingdom, the Oracles of God would be given to “another,” even toward the church
- Sidney Rigdon and Frederick G. Williams are accounted as EQUAL with Joseph in holding the keys of “this last kingdom”
Are you confused? I think we can minimize the apparent contradictions by separating them out in this way:
- The promise of the keys remaining perpetually was not provided to Sydney and Frederick
- Joseph had superior use of the Keys because they would continue on being retained by him even after he would die
The only option left is this:
Joseph will forever have the Keys on the other side of the veil, but he can share them in the same way that his counselors shared them with him in what came to be known as “The 1st Presidency.”
What this means that after his martyrdom, only others such as Brigham Young could be co-counselors in the 1st Presidency: they would have had to be in contact and verbal communication with Joseph beyond the veil, deciding all things together in unity with him!
Given Sydney’s heretical deception about the Keys of the Kingdom being taken away from the Church while Joseph was here in the flesh, it is utterly surprising that he would be granted the authority to wield those keys EQUALLY with Joseph. Don’t you think? There is immense mercy from Lord being demonstrated! Yet, there is an Elephant in the Room – so to speak – which is the fact that in 1831 (2 years prior), the Lord made it seem like Joseph could cease to wield the keys.
Can this be reconciled?
Yes.
In DaC 43, the Spirit foresaw a hypothetical situation through which Joseph could have chosen a path to become unworthy of Head Seership. In DaC 90, we are shown that Joseph Smith passed the test. Meaning, that there was a genuine possibility between 1831 and 1832 that Joseph would have “fallen” and someone else provided the Master Keys! However, we are assured that did not take place. And the power of Smith’s endurance and commitment was confirmed by the Lord to be so secure that it was officially announced,
“The keys of the kingdom shall never be taken from you, while thou are in the world, neither in the world to come.”
Even D&C 132:7, drives this point home,
“And verily I say unto you, that the conditions of this law are these: All covenants, contracts, bonds, obligations, oaths, vows, performances, connections, associations, or expectations, that are not made and entered into and sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise, of him who is anointed, both as well for time and for all eternity, and that too most holy, by revelation and commandment through the medium of mine anointed, whom I have appointed on the earth to hold this power (and I have appointed unto my servant Joseph to hold this power in the last days, and there is never but one on the earth at a time on whom this power and the keys of this priesthood are conferred), are of no efficacy, virtue, or force in and after the resurrection from the dead; for all contracts that are not made unto this end have an end when men are dead.”
-End quote
Thus, the Nelsonite Church’s claim that Brigham and 9 Apostles were provided Joseph’s Head Seer Keys is a Self-Refuting Claim! Because during Temple Recommend Interviews, members are asked by the Bishop if they sustain the “President” Russel M. Nelson as “the only one with the keys.”
See the major problem?
You can’t claim that the President of the Church AND the Apostles were given all of Joseph’s Keys, while at the same time claim that only President Nelson has them!
Ahhhhh….
Sometimes the Devil beats himself at his own game!
Don’t get me wrong…the lie WORKED.
However, that doesn’t mean the Light hasn’t just exposed it.
When you turn on a Light in a room everything instantly becomes the Light.
And so, now that you can see the FIB, as the old saying goes, “The King has no clothes.”
(Concerning the D&C 132 section, I plan on writing another article dedicated to it from a purely philosophical – not historical – vantage point.)
Nonetheless, if we are to regard 132:7 as inspired, and interpret it correctly in the context of what I’ve already demonstrated what the qualities and conditions of being the Presidential Head Seer are, then it is imperative to accept this truth:
Joseph Smith is Still the Only One on the Earth with the Sealing Power.
This returns us to the Pauline revelations regarding The Oneness of Head and Body…
How is this possible?
Well…Peter, James, and John saw Moses and Elijah in the flesh.
The veil is an illusion.
Just because we can’t see Joseph Smith with our physical eyes, doesn’t mean he isn’t on the earth.
Besides, through the Gift of the Holy Ghost (linked to his Melchizedek Head Seership), he remains with the pure in heart according to D&C 43:14.
D&C 43:4,
“Nevertheless, through you shall the oracles be given to another, yea, even unto the church.”
That word “even” is our key of understanding here.
The Webster’s 1827 Dictionary has a lot of definitions:
E’VEN, adjective e’vn.
1. Level; smooth; of an equal surface; flat; not rough or waving; as an even tract of land; an even country; an even surface.
2. Uniform; equal; calm; not easily ruffled or disturbed, elevated or depressed; as an even temper.
3. Level with; parallel to.
And shall lay thee even with the ground. Luke 19:44.
4. Not leaning.
He could not carry his honors even.
E’VEN, verb transitive e’vn. To make even or level; to level; to lay smooth.
This will even all inequalities.
This temple Xerxes evened with the soil.
1. To place in an equal state, as to obligation, or in a state in which nothing is due on either side; to balance accounts.
E’VEN, verb intransitive To be equal to. [Not used.]
E’VEN, adverb e’vn. Noting a level or equality, or emphatically, a like manner or degree. As it has been done to you, even so shall it be done to others. Thou art a soldier even to Cato’s wishes, that is, your qualities, as a soldier, are equal to his wishes.
1. Noting equality or sameness of time; hence emphatically, the very time. I knew the facts, even when I wrote to you.
2. Noting, emphatically, identity of person.
And behold I, even I, do bring a flood of waters on the earth. Genesis 6:17.
3. Likewise; in like manner.
Here all their rage, and ev’n their murmurs cease.
4. So much as. We are not even sensible of the change.
5. Noting the application of something to that which is less probably included in the phrase; or bringing something within a description, which is unexpected. The common people are addicted to this vice, and even the great are not free from it. He made several discoveries which are new, even to the learned.
Here also we see the sense of equality, or bringing to a level. So in these phrases, I shall even let it pass, I shall even do more, we observe the sense of bringing the mind or will to a level with what is to be done.
____
I believe that the “even” of D&C 43:4 is being used in an Adverbial Sense:
“A word or phrase that modifies or qualifies an adjective, verb, or other adverb or a word group, expressing a relation of place, time, circumstance, manner, cause, degree, etc. (e.g., gently, quite, then, there).”
“Nevertheless, through you shall the oracles be given to another, yea, even unto the church.”
What would “even” even mean in this context? (No pun intended.)
The 5th Adverbial example definition provided above says this,
“Noting the application of something to that which is less probably included in the phrase; or bringing something within a description which is unexpected.”
Practical examples:
“The common people are addicted to this vice, and even the great are not free from it.”
“He made several discoveries which are new, even to the learned.”
Through grammatical deduction, we can surmise that it would not be expected that The Oracles of God would be given to Another, and that Another is The Church!
(At first, one might assume that Sidney Rigdon and Frederick G. Williams are the subject at hand, since “even” could be defined as “equal.” Reasonable, right? Nope. Because it doesn’t say, “others.” If the Lord and Joseph wanted to convey plurality, the singular “another” wouldn’t have been employed: we are being introduced to a new unexpected idea.)
What is the New Unexpected Idea implied by even?
That the Church as a Whole – Singular – would be granted The Oracles of God despite Joseph having the Keys of the Kingdom perpetually!
By inference, “The Oracles of God” are a different way of referring to The Keys of the Kingdom.
In general, the concept of a Kingdom has to do with rulership; keys of authority.
There is Kingdom Authority to Speak on Behalf of God being described.
God is clearing up for all future generations two vital truths:
- Joseph is still the Head Seer perpetually
- The Church as a Whole will share the Oracle abilities
The most likely scenario the Lord wanted us to know in 1833, is that there is no person ever who would succeed Joseph.
How then could The Church as a Whole share in the Oracle ability?
Well, because Joseph is at the Head!
According to Apostle Paul, the Saints are supposed to “grow up into the Head.”
In Ephesians chapter 4:11-15, Paul laid out some key concepts:
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
____
Am I implying that Joseph Smith is Christ?
Of course.
Christ means “Anointed” and is a Noun, referring to the thing a person becomes once they’re Anointed.
So…
There is Joseph Christ, Jesus Christ, Moses Christ, Abraham Christ, Noah Christ, Enoch Christ, and even Adam Christ!
When David became King of Israel, he was The Christ of Israel, directly anointed by the Prophet Samuel.
The “Messiah” was thus thought of one who would sit on the Throne (Authority) of David.
Joseph was Chosen and Anointed to be the Head Seer of The Church of the Latter-Day Saints, directly by God!
Notice the context of Ephesians 4:11-15 in helping to delineate what “perfecting of the saints” and “edifying the body of Christ” means:
- No more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive
The Union of Head and Body (the Whole Church conscious of our Oneness with the Head), is signified by as the SECURE DOCTRINE that prevents deception.
What more secure of Doctrine would we need, except to know who The Head is?
If we are expected to be able to, “Speak the truth in love” in order to” grow up into him in all things,” we need to first know the truth with certainty.
Well, thankfully, the Lord had mercy on us and gave us a revelation from Joseph,
Let’s return to DaC 43:4-8,
4 But verily, verily, I say unto you, that none else shall be appointed unto this gift except it be through him; for if it be taken from him he shall not have power except to appoint another in his stead.
5 And this shall be a law unto you, that ye receive not the teachings of any that shall come before you as revelations or commandments;
6 And this I give unto you that you may not be deceived, that you may know they are not of me.
___
Notice the similarities of D&C 43:4-8 to the Ephesians 4 passages about The Head and Body?
What is the context for verses 5-8?
No one else is appointed to THIS GIFT: that’s how you know you’re being deceived!
It is a simple test…
Are we going to pass this test or continue to live in deception?
The Keys of the Kingdom – the ability to Speak for God to the Whole Church – is only Given to Joseph and The Whole Church when we realize our Oneness With Each Other by simultaneously accepting our Oneness with Joseph. (The Book of Revelation referring to “The Wedding of the Lamb has come,” is referring to the Lamb with 7 Eyes – Joseph being the 7th Eye of the Last Day/Millennial Dispensation).
The Lord gave Joseph a revelation that even implies New Converts should be expected to bring forth incredible revelations…
D&C 128:18,
18. I might have rendered a plainer translation to this, but it is sufficiently plain to suit my purpose as it stands. It is sufficient to know, in this case, that the earth will be smitten with a curse unless there is a welding link of some kind or other between the fathers and the children, upon some subject or other—and behold what is that subject? It is the baptism for the dead. For we without them cannot be made perfect; neither can they without us be made perfect. Neither can they nor we be made perfect without those who have died in the gospel also; for it is necessary in the ushering in of the dispensation of the fulness of times, which dispensation is now beginning to usher in, that a whole and complete and perfect union, and welding together of dispensations, and keys, and powers, and glories should take place, and be revealed from the days of Adam even to the present time. And not only this, but those things which never have been revealed from the foundation of the world, but have been kept hid from the wise and prudent, shall be revealed unto babes and sucklings in this, the dispensation of the fulness of times.
-End quote
“And not only this, but those things which never have been revealed from the foundation of the world, but have been kept hid from the wise and prudent, shall be revealed unto babes and sucklings in this, the dispensation of the fulness of time.”
I am a “convert” to accepting Joseph Smith as the Head Seer, since May of 2023, but I was fully converted to rejecting anyone else as at the Head of the Latter Day Saints mid summer of 2024 (that’s when unlimited revelations kept pouring upon and through me).
Does the above Scripture from D&C 128 mean I am automatically right about everything I claim in this article and/or elsewhere?
Of course not.
However, you can examine every Scripture I quote and every explanation.
“If any man writes to you, or preaches to you, doctrines contrary to the Bible, the Book of Mormon, or the book of Doctrine and Covenants, set him down as an imposter.”
-Times and Seasons, Volume 5:490
https://contentdm.lib.byu.edu/digital/collection/NCMP1820-1846/id/8236
2nd Timothy 3:16 also says,
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”
Do you honestly believe I’m wrong?
If so, then please do follow your conscience on how to respond.
But where and how I am I incorrect?
I know you’re accustomed to viewing only Jesus Christ as the Head.
I understand your mental conflict.
It doesn’t help that The Assembly of God is called, “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints” does it?
The truth is that these things don’t have to be points for mental and emotional crisis – once you can accept a much broader truth:
The Celestial Assembly of God is called by many titles at one time – “The Church of the First-born,” “The Church of Enoch,” and “The Church of Christ.”
But what you absolutely need to start training your mind to accept is that within every different Dispensation, there is a different Head of the Church…
Apostle Paul understood it in 1st Corinthians 10:1-4 when he expounded on the true meaning of the Sacrament by comparing it to how the Israelites were “Baptized into Moses.” (Yep, the correct translation is “into” not “toward”.)
When Enoch was the Head of the Church in his Dispensation, did the Saints cease being the Church of God and Christ?
You know the answer to that!
I “propose” (no pun intended) that The Wedding of the Lamb spoken of by Apostle John, pertains to our acceptance of Oneness with The Head of the Church in each Millennial Dispensation.
In the Oneness of the Body (The Bride) and Bridegroom (the Head) there is a temporary exchange of roles.
(Indeed, I speak of the act of Copulation.)
Spiritually speaking, a figurative physical oneness between the Head of the Church and the Assembly of Saints.
Copulation, while ideally eternal, is meant to reach a blissful climax.
Climaxing is a temporary experience.
The Appropriate Analogy is that of Speaking for God – the Spirit of Prophecy – having the Testimony of Jesus – or rather, witnessing things from the Ascended Perspective of the Cloud of Witnesses.
Speaking for God, or Oracling for God, occurs through a willful union with The Head.
In the act of Copulation, the Man and Wife “become” the other.
Paul said, “This mystery is great; but I speak regarding Christ and the Church.”
(That implies that there is an even greater mystery to discover about how Christ and the Church are One.)
Well, in the Apocalypse of John, Babylon the Great is called, “Mystery Babylon.”
(The exposure of the Great Mystery, the Great Hidden Confusion, would likely reveal something we didn’t know we’ve been confused about!)
And I strongly believe that The Mystery is that
- There is One Head
- There is One Body
- The Head and the Body are One
- The Head Changes Identity every Dispensation
Babylon as the Harlot, would attempt to divert attention away from the Oneness, causing the Church to be unfaithful to the Head.
The Man and Wife are not “automatically” one until they choose the Oneness.
Paul outlined that reaching the unity comes through
- Apostles
- Prophets
- Evangelists
- Pastors
- Teachers
And one might attempt to say, “Well this proves the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has a legitimate succession from Joseph!”
Hmmm.
I do hope you’ve been listening to everything I’ve meticulously been revealing…
You see, Apostles and Prophets, while although the Foundation of the Church with The Head, only are contributing to The Unity – the Bridal Union – when they properly acknowledge whom is at the Head!
Did I not already reveal that Joseph Smith was already announced to still be The Head even after death?
Who has attempted to divert our attention away from faithfulness to The Head Seer?
I am sure you could easily deduce the proper conclusion.
____
On July 23rd, 1837, Kirtland, Ohio, the Lord gave this warning to all the Twelve Apostles:
DaC 112:14-16,
“14 Now, I say unto you, and what I say unto you, I say unto all the Twelve: Arise and gird up your loins, take up your cross, follow me, and feed my sheep. 15 Exalt not yourselves; rebel not against my servant Joseph; for verily I say unto you, I am with him, and my hand shall be over him; and the keys which I have given unto him, and also to youward, shall not be taken from him till I come. 16 Verily I say unto you, my servant Thomas, thou art the man whom I have chosen to hold the keys of my kingdom, as pertaining to the Twelve, abroad.”
-End quote
Notice that rebelling against Joseph is linked to, “Exalt not yourselves”?
What is even more remarkable is that the Lord uses their theological understanding about the 2nd Coming against them!
Look carefully at the latter part of verse 15,
“And the keys which I have given unto him, and also to youward, shall not be taken from him till I come.”
Verse 15 is a complete decimation of any devilish ambitions or egoic aspirations, concerning the specific keys Joseph had, which he conditionally and temporarily shared with the Twelve.
Was the Lord foreseeing a secret coo by the future Twelve led by Brigham Young?
Unfortunately, it seems so!
After Joseph died and years passed by, the issue of who would lead the Church became pressing: it was the duty of The Twelve to not rebel against Joseph nor Exalt Themselves above his positional duties as Head Seer.
If they would have simply read their Scriptures and heeded the exhortations, they would have sought communion with Joseph on the other side of the veil and publicly confessed NO-ONE at the President!
(But even at that point, they would have needed to make claims they heard or saw Joseph issue forth new revelations from beyond the grave and say exactly what those were: that never happened.)
History tells us that over a few days period, Brigham underwent to exalt himself to the position of being at The Head.
He was not the only one, so I’m not going to single Mr. Young out.
But did Brigham believe the Lord had already come again?
The Head Seer Position remains with Joseph all the way up to the time of The Lord’s Coming!
So, I ask each one of you who considers yourself a Latter Day Saint…
When Sydney Rigdon, Brigham Young, James Strang or any others made their claimant assertions about succeeding Joseph, had the Lord come yet?
None of them claimed the 2nd Coming had occurred!
Remember: Joseph has the Keys “til I come.”
And yet, if you study the word “until” it doesn’t imply a ceasing.
In modern English, we have tended to alter the meaning of until to mean, “up to and stopping.”
That’s not what it really means: we have a word “by” to denote a stopping.
“Until I come” means that Joseph’s Office remains all the way up to then, but not necessarily ceasing.
The context of all the other verses I’ve expounded upon does not indicate any change to Joseph as the Head Seer, since that the promise was, “and also in the world to come.”
If you are familiar with my other writings, you might already know that I make and prove a claim that The Moment One Understands By Experience The Apocalypse of John, the Lord Comes again.
I base this both on Greek, and intense studies of John chapter 7, 4, and 3.
(If your ego is getting excited to attempt to “argue” with me now about Greek Grammar, you should be forewarned beforehand that I am a dedicated student of Koine Greek, and I viciously attack my own claims before others have a chance to. )
The Apocalypse of John was written in about 90 A.D., while he was on the Cretan Isle of Patmos. John’s Gospel is claimed by many historians to have been written around 200 A.D. We know that Jesus claimed John would live until he would come. All you have to do is read the very last chapter of the Gospel of John to know that. It seems that John stayed around long enough to create his Gospel as a companion to explain The Apocalypse! Joseph Smith claimed that Apostle John was still on the earth and walked through a forest to greet him, while Peter and James descended out of another dimension. No matter what played out, if The Apocalypse is The Coming, then John did indeed survive until the Lord arrived!
The Greek word, “Erchomai,” meaning, “Arrival,” in Apocalypse chapter 1 is in the Present Tense Indicative Mood, which means that all theologies promulgating an uncertain future date for The Coming in the coming are deceptively wrong.
John made it clear:
The Coming of Jesus was occurring while he was writing The Apocalypse and/or as soon as the reader understands what it means.
I know many of you will protest prior to reading my deeply studied writings on these matters, because you will point out Paul’s warnings about those who say, “The Day of the Lord has already come.”
Guess what?
I already attacked my own assertions with those verses.
And well, they don’t hold up, because 90 A.D. was about 30 years after Apostle Paul wrote that statement!
Furthermore, the mere existence of the Apocalypse book is not the same thing as the Body of Christ as a Whole coming into an Enlightenment about what The Coming means!
What I’m getting at is that, “The Coming of the Lord” isn’t one specific event in the uncertain future.
I think that passages such as what D&C talks about Joseph having the Keys “Until I Come” are playing Double-Duty:
- They reveal that Joseph is still the Head Seer
- They reveal that The Coming is not what we had traditionally thought
- They reveal that Joseph’s Headseership is linked to the concept of The Coming
The Coming – Erchomai – of Jesus in the Clouds, entails many things that Jesus prophesied would happen already – like the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D., the Rise of Roman Catholicism and Protestantism – the 1st and 2nd Beasts – and other variables.
Some of the variables include these:
- John wrote The Apocalypse during the 6th Dispensation, which is likely the prime reason for the emphasis on the Number 6
- The Roman Catholic and Protestant Churches created a False Number 6 – a Brotherless Jesus Overload Tyrant whom would send people to eternal damnation without hearing the gospel
- The True Number 6 belongs to Jesus, the Brazen Serpent, which is a Seraphim, a 6 Winged Serpent. John mentioned that in John 3:15
- 666 also eventually adds up to 9, which in Hebrew Gematria, is symbolized by The Serpent
Numbers are neither evil nor good.
Paul told us, “Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.”
And so, we are to embody a good serpentine quality.
Anyhow…
The repeating patterns of Sevens are most likely different ways to perceive the 7 Dispensations:
The 7 Heads of the 1st Beast are likely Rome’s replacement theology for the 7 Dispensational Heads later fully revealed by Joseph Smith: the scenario is that Lucifer would attempt to erect Counterfeit Heads – religious/governmental authorities – in each Millennium.
An example is that the Deuteronomists likely botched up the entire Old Testament in order to deny and suppress the real stories about Adam and Enoch being the Heads of their Dispensations.
Even Brigham Young acknowledged the Truth about the 7 Dispensational Heads:
https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/manual/teachings-brigham-young/chapter-14?lang=eng
The 7 Dispensation Heads are as follows:
- Adam
- Enoch
- Noah
- Abraham
- Moses
- Jesus
- Joseph Smith
I won’t write about it in great detail in this article, but I have a strong belief that John the Baptist’s reference to Jesus as, “Baptizer with the Holy Spirit,” is his acknowledgement of the fact that each new Dispensational Head is the one who imparts The Gift of the Holy Spirit, as the Head of the Melchizedek Priesthood.
In other words, whomever is the Head Seer of the previous Dispensation plays the role of Baptizer with the Holy Spirit until the next Head officially steps into their office: in Jesus’s case that would have occurred at His Ascension, which corresponds to the 40th Day after Passover – the time Moses went up the Mountain to receive the 10 Commandments. (10 Days later Moses stepped down to provide The Torah – which was actually the Gift of the Holy Spirit, but the Israelites were worshiping the Golden Calf. Moses – in anger – broke the tablets and the Law of Moses was instituted. By proper inference, Paul talks about “The Law being written upon the tablets of our hearts” – when the Hebrews were supposed to receive The Torah while receiving the Gift of the Holy Spirit.)
Anyhow, if you are full of doubts about my claim that Moses was a Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, then I encourage you to read 1st Corinthians 10:1-4,
1. Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
2. And were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
3. And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
4. And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

You have been accustomed to the idea of “Following Christ.”
But Paul introduced us to a new concept:
Christ following us
Alma’s father had established “a secret Church” because of the watchful spying eyes of King Noah.
Alma 5:3-5,
3. I, Alma, having been consecrated by my father, Alma, to be a high priest over the church of God, he having power and authority from God to do these things, behold, I say unto you that he began to establish a church in the land which was in the borders of Nephi; yea, the land which was called the land of Mormon; yea, and he did baptize his brethren in the waters of Mormon.
4. And behold, I say unto you, they were delivered out of the hands of the people of king Noah, by the mercy and power of God.
5. And behold, after that, they were brought into bondage by the hands of the Lamanites in the wilderness; yea, I say unto you, they were in captivity, and again the Lord did deliver them out of bondage by the power of his word; and we were brought into this land, and here we began to establish the church of God throughout this land also.

King Brigham and the subsequent “LDS President-Kings” will ensure there is a watchful eye, in order to quelch the truth.
But do not be dismayed!
There is hope for the Quorum of the Twelve, the Seventy, and all the Stakes of Zion…
And while many upon discovering the truths shared herein will react with the inclination to seek excommunication of all those such as myself who unashamedly speak about these things, their actions will ultimately help the establishment of the True Zion People – those with a Pure Heart – who have a unity of Mind to sustain Joseph as the True and Living Head.
The Nelsonite Cult will cease being a Cult once the zealous and dedicated members recognize the True Living Head.
This Mormon Identity website was created to become a Safe Haven so that we can all “Drink from the same Spiritual Drink” like the Israelites.
We only excommunicate here for indecent, disrespectful, or immoral behavior toward other members of the community.
And that, really, is the only just reason to excommunicate anyhow!
Remember, when Sydney Rigdon started claiming that The Keys had been withdrawn from the earth, Joseph could have swiftly excommunicated him: instead, he handed him over to the buffeting of Satan!
And so, all LDS Leaders who read this writing of mine, I implore you to consider exercising righteous dominion in your decisions about who gets to be ostracized or accepted in the community of “the one true church.”
Will you listen to my words?
More than that though, I exhort you to consider this first:
Accept that Moses was a Christ – the Anointed Head of his Dispensation.
When you accept that you can be baptized into Joseph Smith by receiving him as Head Seer and you will have joined the Marriage Feast of the Ram!
The Bride is an Ewe.
There is a Marriage of the Ram and the Ewe.
Lead not the Ewe to the slaughter.
Accepting Joseph Smith as the current Head Seer doesn’t take anything away from Jesus’s atoning sacrifice in the 6th Dispensation.
You do not have to be ashamed about identifying with the word Mormon.
It is a victory for Satan to move you away from drinking with other Saints from the Waters of Mormon (the Present Day Dispensational Truth provided by the Holy Spirit).
The Greek word, ταυτότητα, Tauftoteta, means:
Identity, Identification, Community
Mormon Self or Identity can only be truly experienced Interdependently.
But just as, “Love thy neighbor as thyself,” cannot be properly applied unless one comes to a knowledge of Self, the Mormon Ego cannot be properly given until it is received.
There is a lower ego – the flesh, and a higher ego – the Spirit.
Every Human Spirit is a Child of God.
The Higher Self, the Premortal everlasting Self, is discovered in the Interdependent Mormon Identity.
No one is perfected alone.
We must sanctify and purify our souls in the Interdependent Self; thereby receiving greater glory from the Celestial Kingdom.
In order to become sinless though, we must identify our Target correctly.
We must know what it is we can error from.
The Greek archery term, “Harmatia,” from whence we derive our English concept of “sin,” properly means to error.
We cannot intentionally miss a target we do not know exists.
If the Head Seer is the True Target for the Oneness of the Body of The Anointed Ones, then shouldn’t we make it a priority to remove all inner obstacles that prevent us from union?
Yes, I’ve baptized myself into Anointed One Joseph Smith and I invite you to do the same!
We are in this together.
I did it in the Name of Jehovah, which is The Name of Christ, Jesus commanded us to get baptized into.
There is a Jehovah in the Past (Father), a Jehovah in the Present (Son) and a Jehovah in the Future (Holy Spirit): that is why we are baptized into One Name (not many)…
…That is also likely why there is a Church of Enoch, a Church of Adam the First-born, and a Church of Joseph Smith, all simultaneously being The Church of Jehovah…
…That is also likely why Jesus Christ refers to himself as, “who was, is, and is to come.”
But Paul clearly stated The Coming occurs in the Saints [See 2nd Thessalonians 1:10].
Join me in accepting the Unified Cloud of Witnesses in Saint Moroni and Saint Joseph Smith, and Saint Oliver Cowdery, and Saint Sydney Rigdon.
Have you not already accepted The 3 Witnesses and The 8 Witnesses?
You have!
Let us accept the Unified Cloud of Witness from every Saint of God who speaks by the Spirit of Christ.
Let us hear what Prophet Alma said in his Interdependent Witness within The Unified Cloud:
Alma 5:6-7 declares,
6. And now behold, I say unto you, my brethren, you that belong to this church, have you sufficiently retained in remembrance the captivity of your fathers? Yea, and have you sufficiently retained in remembrance his mercy and long-suffering towards them? And moreover, have ye sufficiently retained in remembrance that he has delivered their souls from hell?
7. Behold, he changed their hearts; yea, he awakened them out of a deep sleep, and they awoke unto God. Behold, they were in the midst of darkness; nevertheless, their souls were illuminated by the light of the everlasting word; yea, they were encircled about by the bands of death, and the chains of hell, and an everlasting destruction did await them.
8. And now I ask of you, my brethren, were they destroyed? Behold, I say unto you, Nay, they were not.
9. And again I ask, were the bands of death broken, and the chains of hell which encircled them about, were they loosed? I say unto you, Yea, they were loosed, and their souls did expand, and they did sing redeeming love. And I say unto you that they are saved.
10. And now I ask of you on what conditions are they saved? Yea, what grounds had they to hope for salvation? What is the cause of their being loosed from the bands of death, yea, and also the chains of hell?
11. Behold, I can tell you—did not my father Alma believe in the words which were delivered by the mouth of Abinadi? And was he not a holy prophet? Did he not speak the words of God, and my father Alma believe them?
12. And according to his faith there was a mighty change wrought in his heart. Behold I say unto you that this is all true.
13. And behold, he preached the word unto your fathers, and a mighty change was also wrought in their hearts, and they humbled themselves and put their trust in the true and living God. And behold, they were faithful until the end; therefore they were saved.

The above passage provides great hope for every person within the Nelsonite Cult and all fallacious branches started by a false Head Seer instead of Joseph Smith.
Joseph did say, however, “No one is saved in ignorance.”
Consider now how I am correctly assessing the situation at hand:
What is the parallel analogy of the Pillar of Fire by Night and the Cloud by Day in this 7th Millennial Dispensation?
Is the Holy Spirit revelating to you what that guidance might be?
I think you know…
For Moroni promised to be united with his body at the Last Day.
Joseph Smith claimed Moroni appeared to him as a fully resurrected and glorified being.
The Easter Eggs were left for us to find.
The Tomb of Truth is Open Forevermore.
